27 summers down

“When asked to be a part of this collaboration, I knew I wouldn't be able to create a new piece since I'm healing a broken wrist.  Almost immediately, I knew I wanted to use this piece.  I have come to see it as a self portrait just as I imagine ‘27 Summers Down’ being for Erin.  This piece was painted during a calm-after-the-storm, self-reflective period of my life as a way to move on and look to the future without forgetting the past.”
